During the show, Grohl seemed surprised when the band’s crew introduced Dr. Lew Schon out on stage. From his custom built throne, Grohl told the crowd “holy s**t, that’s my actual doctor!” The sit-in is just one of many for the Foo Fighters, as they also had Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Chad Smith join them at a New York show.

They teamed up for a version of the Faces’ “Stay With Me.” During a gig at Citi Field in Queens, New York, the Foo’s delivered a cover version of Queen and David Bowie’s “Under Pressure,” Tom Petty’s “Breakdown” and The Police’s “Next To Me.” During their encore, they had something special in mind and invited Smith up on stage to join them for the Faces classic.
